Rating by category:
Although it was chilly outside the room was warm inside.Very cosy with great view.
The bathroom was too poky ie small and the finishes in the bathroom were very average.
The hotel offers an excellent restaurant in a beautyful environment.
Good value for money, close to the beach, museum, restaurants etc. Very clean and nice countryside wooden look. Definitely will go back again.
The rooms are much to small and the bathrooms not very upmarket.
The staff are so friendly, the design of the hotel is good, the laundry was pefect, the bath towels were clean, not to mension the break fast it was delicious and pefect.
I didn't like the bed, to me I thought when they say double bed they mean double bed, but not two beds which are going to be put together and form double bed. And my partner also didn't like that, he said we are separated we couldn't sleep well.
Staff were friendly (promoted South Africans well). View from the one room (sea-facing was beautiful). Comfortable large bed.
TV reception in the sea-facing room was quite poor. Not the hotel's fault but location is such that safety in the evening was a concern for our family, particularly when we heard about 4 gunshots around 10pm, one quite close.
Restaurant and food and service were very good... Lorna super waitress....rooms also well equipped with good electrical connexions for pc etc.
Balcony messed by pigeons daily and not cleaned as part of room service; apparent lack of lift service also hampers stays by people with mobility disabilities.
Nice hotel within easy reach of the airport and overlooking the beach. The staff were very good - the rooms very comfortable and the breakfasts excellent.
Comfortable room. Good location, next to the aquarium and close to the beach. Short drive to the boardwalk. Good breakfast selection.
Slow internet which kept failing - not very helpful, especially when charged by time spent. At the time of our stay there was a large party of youngsters who were very noisy.
After eating a very poor breakfast at the hotel I got food poisoning - the salmon at the breakfast bar tasted off and it must have been! There is no lift in the hotel and no help was offered with bags up two flights of stairs
Very good value for money
Reception-staff should be more "professional", should not be some-one who sees her/his duties as just another admin function. Should endeavor to make guests feel welcome.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the Hotel has a lovely view and a cosy atmosphere.
Restaurant was excellent. Meals were excellent, both dinner and breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful in general. I will definitely come back.
The beds were a definite disappointment. They are effectively bunk beds. The lack of underground parking for a 4 star hotel was also disappointing.
The bed was very comfortable and the staff were brilliant
We were unable to sit on our balcony due to the pigeons as they were constantly on balcony
No bar fridge, limited tv/dstv channels.
